Missionary Mail from Kenzie

HOLA FAMILY! This week couldn't have been better. every day just gets more and more amazing and I cant even believe it. The biggest most exciting news is we (the hermanas) got asked to serve in the temple for the open house! I couldnt think of a better way to finish my mission! We were informed on saturday and then on sunday they shipped us off to xela for a training meeting with Elder Martino and the people in charge of the temple dedication. I am so excited and I know i will never have another chance like this in my lifetime. We got to see the temple yesterday and it was amazing and the weather felt like a fall day. it felt good to get out of the burning heat. The moment we have been preparing for our whole mission starts this week. The temple open house starts on the 11th and the missions gonna explode. We have put a lot of work into this so Im hoping all our plans come through. anyways for the next 17 days we will be working triple time running back and forth from our area and the temple. I couldnt be happier.

We had a multi zone conference this week and it was great as usual. Its weird cause things are actually starting to hit me that im going home. Its a weird feeling. Pretty much a little bit of everything. I like being Hermana Roney. So its gonna suck going home.

as for investigators all though a lot of people have punked us and rejected us we´ve got two families that should be getting baptizing in the next two weeks. yipee! we have been praying and fasting despretely. the members have been helping us a ton and weve gotten a ton of references. All I can say is when you are doing what you are supposed to be doing the lord is a lot more willing to help you. My companion hasnt quite mastered the do your part and wash your hands part of missionary work yet. she gets really upset when the people reject us sometimes.

Me and my comp were the compaƱerismo maravilloso last month. The first companionship of hermanas. cough. cough.

today we watched one mans treasure so I got to see charan all morning long.

As tradition all the sicknesses have been hitting me now that I am finishing. My toe got infected so they gave me meds but it turned out to be a blessing cause not only did they heal my toe but they got rid of all my infected mosquito bites. Pretty much the whole mission has colds too. its real fun.

also i got your package mother dearest thank you. Thanks for the birthday cards... Also Openshaws thank you for the package too!! I also got some letters but too bad I couldnt read half of them cause they got soaked in the hurricane. Guatemala is awesome.

congrats on your baptism saucy! I love you!

I love you all. Thanks for all your prayers and support.

love,

Hermana Roney
