que onda mucha?? This week was super. After a gloomy week and a half of rain the sun finally came out!! I couldn't have been happier. I finally have dry shoes which were wet for a week and clean dry clothes. It was so stormy our clothes wouldn't dry so luckily the sun come out cause i was on my last articles of clothing.

on Saturday our investigator got baptized! When we passed by his house on Saturday to go to his baptism we were waiting him to get ready and his mom just yelled at us for like 30 minutes cause she says her son has already been baptized, it was really fun. Hes super cool and super smart. In church he answers all the questions as if he has been a member for years. unfortunately his brother couldn't get baptized cause it turns out hes playing for the other team. if you know what i mean.

we found a lot of new investigators this week so we are pretty excited. Its amazing how when you are doing what you should be doing things just seem to fall in place. this whole week we have had amazing experiences of members chasing after us in the street telling us that their neighbor has been asking to talk to us. Or other things like that.

We found a family and if all the paper work turns out ok they will be getting married and baptized on Thursday. yipee.

We also found this sweet old man and we taught him the gospel of Jesus Christ and then asked him to be baptized and he said he had already been baptized so then i asked him if he was baptized in the same form as Christ and read it out of the bible and then when we finished he said wait could you explain to me this baptism thing again? so we explained it again and he just goes oh ok then I need to get baptized again. we couldnt believe it. I think we even asked him to be baptized like 3 times after that cause we couldnt believe our ears. he will be getting baptized on sunday.

We also have another baptism date, but she yelled at us yesterday so we will see what happens with her.

Also we are teaching a super cool family and the mom only speaks in quiche so the dad has to translate for us and its awesome. I love it. We are currently desperately searching for a book of mormon in quiche because I have this super strong feeling that we should give them the book of mormon in quiche but the only problem is we cant find one. I dont know why. we are in Guatemala you would think they would have one around here somewhere.

It feels super good to be with a companion who wants to work hard and share the gospel. I couldnt be happier or more tired. Every day we come home and crash and then next thing I know it is 6:30 am again. Time is passing quickly.

The church is true. The Book of Mormon is true. And I love being a missionary.

 I LOVE YOU!

 LOVE,

 Hermana Roney
