Missionary Mail from Kenzie

Hello.

This week was great as usual. Except that NO ONE wants to go to church with us. This week we should have people to go to general conference which I am really excited to watch.

Our most positive investigator, we both have a really good feeling about her. The only problem is she is never home. She is praying about the church but she says she hasnt received an answer yet. So we have explained to her the forms in which the holy ghost talks to us but still nothing. she says she is going to come to church this week so i think she will probably receive her answer there. Also we still havent been able to talk to her husband yet cause he is never home but she says she always tells him what we say and he is in acuerdo.

everyone else just says they are waiting for God to call them to church or strange things like that. So we pretty much just walk around condemning people all day.

Nothing in our house works. We have two broken refrigerators, a broken blender, our tiny stove that never works, and our mattresses just have big holes in them. We ask for new stuff every day but they never bring us anything. its a fun time. and since the fridge doesnt work we cant buy any food that has to go in the fridge and all the food we did have went bad. we had a ton of apples that were starting to go bad so yesterday I made apple sauce. It was delicious. I love apple sauce. and all the latinas were so impressed and loved it. it doesnt exist here.

We went to boxoma again. It was a good time as always except they gave us a million things to eat. first we were given two giant tamales then we were given a tortilla with chipilin which is pretty much some bush they found outside and boiled and then we eat it, then we were given an orange, jello, soda, watermelon, and about four glasses of different drinks. I was dying but I kindly took it and ate it all with a smile. We both had stomach aches on the way home. Also everytime in boxoma everyone just stares at me cause it is this tiny town and I dont think they have ever seen a gringa before and my comp just goes wow it must suck to be gringa. thanks.

This weeks weather has been strange. There was a huge earthquake up by salvador these week. we didnt feel it here but there was a ton of wind and weird weather then ever since it has just been really really hot. hotter than normal. and since we dont have pisto since it is the end of the month we have to walk everywhere cause we cant afford the tuc-tucs. so pretty much i am just black now. cool.

mom just told me i have 2 fast sundays left... weird. remember when I had 15? I do. Time flies.
