Missionary Mail from Kenzie

Hello. Lots of things have happened this week. First of all yes I did have changes. We got a "special assignment" and yes it is very special. I got sent with my same companion down the street to Reu 1. We now live with two other hnas that hate eachother. Our job is to prevent them from fighting and hitting eachother. yes they really told us that. so we have 4 hnas in a tiny area and its a fun treat. But lucky (for them) its working. and they seem to be a lot more calm now that we are there.

Now I will tell you a story. So the other day we went to the supermarket and we were heading back in a tuc-tuc. I was having a good time eating a churro filled with dulce de leche which I had just bought when all of a sudden my companion just yells HERMANA!! when I look to the right just in time to see a big suv headed my way and nail me on my right side. I dont really remember what happened but I do remember my churro went flying and I was just sitting there frozen with the napkin from it in my hand. then I looked at my companion and the first thing i said was my churro! and I was just furious that my churro had gone flying. then my comp goes maybe we should get out. so we got out and my comp just looks at me and says shuka! which in englsih would be something like disgusting you are so dirty. and I look down and i was covered in head to toe in dulce de leche. then we were like wait are you ok? one we had established that we were both ok we started laughing our heads off cause we were just so worried about the churro and nothing else. we tried to talk to the taxi driver but he was busy fighting with the other car so my comp said lets go. I was a little hesitant and i said well shouldnt we talk to someone like the police or something? then she just looked at me like I was crazy and goes hermana por favor we are in central america. oh right. so we just walked the rest of the way home.

Now for those of you who dont know getting in a tuc tuc accident is kind of a big deal. they roll and people fly out of them and stuff. So pretty much it is a miracle that nothing happened and I dont know how I am still alive cause my whole right side got nailed by a car. I was a little sore that day but we called the zls and they came and gave us a blessing. It calmed me down and I just felt a little sore. I thought I would wake up the next day hurting. But the next day I woke up and guess what. NOTHING. I did not feel sore one bit and all i had was a tiny bruise on my arm. I couldnt believe it. I know that there were angels there protecting us that day. and that my heavenly father loves me and was wathching over us and because of that I was able to walk away from that tuc-tuc that day.

Sorry but as for today that is all I am going to share with you. Sorry so short.

Love you all.

read your scriptures.

say your prayers.

Luke 1:37 for with God nothing shall be impossible.

LOVE,
HERMANA RONEY
